Absentia Lunae

In 2002 Climaxia, Khrael x.e. (later K.x.e. 19/19) and Ildanach forms Absentia Lunae later on joined by Sephrenel. After two years of intense work the first self produced and self released effort Marching Upon Forgotten Ashes was completed. In 2005 Aase joins as guitar player and in 2006 “In Vmbrarvm Imperii Gloria” is released on vinyl LP by Serpens Caput Prod. After 2007 Aase and K.x.e. 19/19 were not anymore part of Absentia Lunae. During the same year “In Vmbrarvm Imperii Gloria” cd version is released by Sol Invictus Recordings. A tape version of “Marching Upon Forgotten Ashes” was released by Stuza Productions later on that same year. In 2008 Blastphemer joins as drummer and MZ (Locus Mortis/Arcana Coelestia/Urna) joins as additional effects player.  “History will prove us right” is what the Latin title of the Absentia Lunae’s new album “Historia Nobis Assentietvr” means. Look at the faces on its cover, who stare at you: they are not phantoms of a more distant past, but rather nightmares of the days to come, offspring of modern times who feast on your spirit and crawl deeply in your blood. There is an empty echo which resounds like a void swallowing everything, spreading a disease that can be called Modern World, bearing fake values, corrupted morals, religions, politics and ethics. Do you understand the ramifications? Can you ? Can you see the nightmare approaching ? There is no Religion. No Unity. No Freedom. No Dictatorship. No Democracy. There is only Modern Slavery. “Historia Nobis Assentietvr” is strength, awareness, acknowledgement, drive to grow up. It’s following a path far beyond, making a journey towards a metaphorical arctic land, a place called in many ways: the Isle of the Dead, Ultima Thule, Agartthi, the Holy Mountain, the Philosopher’s Mountain and so forth. It’s experiencing a necessary violent katharsis to accomplish such journey. Looking at the future over and beyond, fully aware of our timeless past.

Arcana Coelestia/Locus Mortis/Urna

MZ the mastermind of Arcana Coelestia, Locus Mortis and Urna is currently one of Emperion collaborators.

He designed the Norax II 7St “Green Flame”.

Arcana Coelestia was born in summer 2005. After a rough demo the band decided to record again the songs for a full-lenght album named “Ubi Secreta Colunt” (Where Secrets Dwells) released by Aeternitas Tenebrarum Music Foundation on winter 2006. Arcana Coelestia, also connected with Urna and Locus Mortis, propose an atmosferic doom dense of melancholy and dark feelings that fades into tragic forms to hallucinated states of mind. The concept tells about the life of the swedish writter August Strindberg and his biographical romance “Inferno” ; his life passed from the literary glory by the fame to the pure ingenious madness where he gived up his literary prospective to accomplish the way of alchemy. In this tormented period of him he had mystical visions regarding the prophecies of his spiritual tutor Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), founded in the esoteric scripts called Arcana Coelestia. Strindberg personality today glowes of a cursed aura and his works still remain closed in a limbo, like permeated from the cursed existence which tormented himself during his life. The last work “Le Mirage de L’Ideal” has been released on April 2009 with the presence of Sephrenel (bass) and Thorns (drums), like the previous album, the scenario is developed upon the so called Romantic period, mid XIV Century, but this time the concept was more focused into Decadentism current inspired by the Baudelarian poetry. Le Mirage de L’Ideal for the band represents a step forward into more hallucinatory and dramatic soundscapes than to the debut album with more contamination with Black Metal, Funeral Doom, Kosmische Musik and Classical music.

http://www.myspace.com/arcanacoelestia

Locus Mortis’ concept is deeply rooted to the ancient vision of death as it was during medieval times, an everlasting companion in the concrete and spiritual life, not only a mere frightening spectre, but a bringer of wisdom, that reminds in every moment the destiny of wretched human life, a queen of what was and has been, and what’s not dead yet. The band arises between years 2004/2005 as a parallel project of the band Urna. The first release was a demotape titled “Sol Orierit In Loco Mortis” composed by four tracks of fast black metal with a gloomy and eerie atmosphere. These songs few time later reappeared re-edited and remixed with other unedited songs to complete the first full-lenght album of the band called “Inter Uterum et Loculum” (now sold-out), the first ufficial released for ATMF label. On the same year of “Inter Uterum et Loculum” the band released another demo-cd titled “Lasciate Che Vengano a Me ” including three new songs and the cover of “The Eggs of Melancholy” originally composed by the hystorical french band Mutiilation and covered by Locus Mortis as a tribute to the Black Metal Old School roots of the group’s members. The last work of the band dated on 2007 is titled “Voust” and contains the three tracks from the previous Ep combined with new un-edited material. The drummer PV-1 joined the line-up to record the drum sessions on “Voust” conducing the sound of the band to a more avant-guardist and experimental dimension still remaining fierce and ancestral as ever. “Voust” has to be considered the highest achievement of Locus Mortis expression and a starting point to develope the future releases of the band.

URNA creature has born by the will of RM and MZ starting months of 2004 to unleash songs that were differently destined to be lost and meant in another project. The result of this starting step is “Justa Funebria”. After months of continuous activity the project have taken form and its autonomous fate. Corrupted from the beginning by the most extreme side of Black Metal and Dark Ambient URNA first hymn has been “Justa Funebria”, from which they decided to start a personal path. “Mors Imperatrix Mundi” EP has brought to an original merging of macabre Black Metal, ritualistic ambient attitude and a strong funeral doom influence. The result is something unique, an original mix of those different origins in a multifarious beast. Latin is the tongue of URNA’s black consciousness, the esoteric and occult meaning of the lyrics and vocals are further amplified by the tremendous majesty of their sacral cult of death, like a dark sermon for those who care to see beyond the veil. In 2006 URNA singns a deal with ATMF and unleashed “Sepulcrum”, a superb masterpiece of doomish obscurantism. In 2008, after two years of silence from the blessing out of “Sepulcrum”, URNA gonna gets a new dimension and with the help of Eidvlon, starts the recording sessions of “Iter Ad Lucem” their second full-lenght album. The sound now is really gloomy and violent, a perfect mixture between postmetal, funeral doom and electronic madness.

Burning Like Torches (Stefano Caramaschi)

This is what we like to call a fucking post-hardcore band. They come from Italy, born more than 5 years ago doing as a crappy sort of ska-core ensemble. Burning Lie Torches passed through psychedelic and prog rock, composing a lot of punk rock stuff too, then in 2008 their former singer left the band with all the troubles you may have in those times. Anyway the passion for music led them to stay together and to play even more than before also if this obliged them to reinvent themselves. Now they are going to record their first LP.

Carnality

http://www.myspace.com/marcorighetti

CARNALITY was formed in 1999 in Rimini, as a 5-piece death metal act. The first line-up included Thomas Ghirardelli (vocalist, previously drummer in Hortus Animae and Entity), Marco Righetti and Christian Conti (guitars), Patrick Amati (5 strings bass) and the drummer Manuel Arlotti. With this line-up, they recorded “Torment Of The Eternal Sorrow”, a 4-tracks demotape, mainly influenced by first Cannibal Corpse, but with some good melodic touch. The year after, they starts an intense live activity. In the meanwhile, the bassist Capu replace Patrick. Carnality recorded their second effort, during February 2001, a 3-tracks cd called “Brutal Execution”. This time, songs are more obscure, sharp and doomish, with great variety of sound. This promo obtained good responses and reviews everywhere (top demo on Grind Zone and Metal Shock). In March 2003, they recorded a mini-cd called “Beyond The Gate”, their most professional one, recorded, as their previous works, at the Fear Studio by Gabriele Ravaglia. Those new 4 tracks allows CARNALITY to enhance live activity during 2003/2004.

Andrea Manenti (Baratro, Entity, Muculords, Defixio) and William Leardini, are respectively the new vocalist and bassist of the band. New songs are ready to be included in the new album (and other stuffs is on the way, too) so we’re LOOKING FOR A LABEL …

SECRET SPHERE – a name guaranteed to make every Power Metal freak’s heart beat faster with excitement and anticipation! Crediting bands like HELLOWEEN, ANGRA, DREAM THEATER and SAVATAGE as their biggest influences, SECRET SPHERE manage to honour the heritage of such big names while creating their very own brand of Symphonic Power Metal. SECRET SPHERE was founded in summer 1997, the initial spark coming from the talented guitarist Aldo Lonobile. After some line-up changes during the early days, the current line-up recorded their debut album “Mistress Of The Shadowlight” in 1999 through Elevate Records.

In 2000 SECRET SPHERE appeared on the prestigious “Keepers Of Jericho” – HELLOWEEN – Tribute sampler alongside big names such as SONATA ARCTICA and RHAPSODY. After the second album, “A Time Nevercome” (2001), SECRET SPHERE concentrated on touring all over Europe and signed with Nuclear Blast for 2003..s opus, “Scent Of Human Desire”. Produced by Achim Köhler (SINNER, PRIMAL FEAR), their third album reaped excellent reviews and high rankings in international metal press. 2003 saw them play various shows at well-known festivals including the Metal Dayz in Switzerland and the band was also invited to play the ProgPower USA festival in 2004.

“Heart & Anger”, SECRET SPHERE’S second release for Nuclear Blast – and their 4th, both showed their trademark strengths and the tendency to include even more majestic and orchestral elements and very aggressive parts. Achim Köhler / House Of Music – well-known for his heavy productions for SINNER, BRAINSTORM or PRIMAL FEAR – was responsible for the powerful yet detailed production once again. His duty was to melt SECRET SPHERE’S Speed / Power Metal riffing with the epic, symphonic parts recorded with a full orchestra. In 2005, Secret Sphere teamed up with Intromental Management to further the possibilities for the band in the heavy metal business. A tour was booked, as support band for Royal Hunt, but RH chose to cancel the tour 2 days into the schedule, leaving Secret Sphere with a devastated economy and a horrible experience. However, the band decided to fight on in spite of being this terrible incident.

With a newfound energy the band after few months, in april 2006 was again on the road supporting King Diamond on his Scandinavian tour. After the succuessfull tour, the band decided to begin working on a new album, this time, including a concept of the strange and moody world of Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands, A Nightmare Before Christmas, etc.). Moreover, the band played stunning shows at several festivals, including ProgPower UK and the Evolution Fest in Italy. 2007 has been spent, writing material for the new opus, and Secret Sphere is ready for the recordings of the album that will bring them on top of the mountain that is heavy metal. Before to release the fifth album the band decided to come back on the road supporting the Swedish Hard Rockers Astral Doors on their European tour just to build up more the band’s name.

Now everything is ready for the comeback ! “Sweet Blood Theory” is the final step to establish the band’s trademark in the metal music. A concept album based on the Polidory’s novel “The Vampire” (1814) here and there melted in the typical Tim Burton’s moody world and the dark-epic Elfman Soundtracks. Musically the band showing an aggressiveness not usual for a power metal band keeping the unmistakeable style of the band in composing catchy melodies! Secret Sphere now has their unique sound !

WEAR AND TEAR was born in 2009 . It’s a solitary project that was created with the intent of the communication of all the discouragement that we receive in our society and and above all by the people who compose it, with its dark and melancholic sound, designed to highlight the rotten movement of the human being

Misere Nobis has no boundaries and represent all that oppresses mankind and all that’s negative inside modern society. They’re a concept based on pain and all the obscure sources are an attraction for them, trying to underline all that’s negativity. Friends becoming enemies, admiration becoming envy and love turning into hate: Misere Nobis are this and much more. They all the sickness, negativity and perversion mankind creates since the time began. Mea Mortua proudly faces the theory of Hate through the emotional spectrum of a creature which is the only one to fight for its own evolution refusing flesh, and so destruction of human body, to glorify the dark side of our spirit and nature, the only divine entity inside us.

DGM/Empyrios (Simone Mularoni)

DGM originally formed in 1994 as an entirely instrumental band. Their first official release is the self-produced mini CD ‘Random Access Zone’, but the full album comes out in November ‘97: ‘Change Direction’. The album received great responses everywhere: Italy, Germany, Finland, Denmark, etc. which prompted to start an Italian tour that gave the band the reputation as one of the most promising progressive Italian act in those years. With the new drummer, Fabio Costantino, (ex-Carnal Raptor), thanks to his great technical experience and his fine musical taste, DGM entered the studio for their incredible second album: ‘Wings Of Time’ (top album on the most important Italian magazines, “Metal Shock”, “Flash” and “Metal hammer”). In Japan the CD sold over 4,000 copies in the first 10 days. The band was also contacted by BURRN! for an exclusive interview that enlarged DGM reputation in the worldwide musical scene. Before their third studio album release, Titta Tani joined the band, becoming the new DGM singer. ‘Dreamland’ saw the light of day in December 2001. In springtime 2001 Andrea Arcangeli (Solisia, Concept, ex-River of Change) became the new DGM bass player just before the Italian dates for ‘Dreamland’ promotion. In 2002 Scarlet Records took the Italian musicians under their wings, asking them to sign a contract and laying the foundations of a new album. ‘Hidden Place’ was released in May 2003 and was destined to be another hot shot for the band, with a new progressive sound from the new keyboards player Fabio Sanges (Abstracta). The fourth album received excellent reviews on all the magazines and web magazines from all over the world and it was time for DGM to take part at the Gods Of Metal (2003 edition). ‘Misplaced’ was born in February 2004; What people heard in this 8 tracks CD was a great example of Prog-Power at its best coupled with catchy melodies, hard rock sound, power walls of pure metal and dreaming solos and a great production thanks to great work of Giuseppe Orlando’s (Novembre) Outer Sound studio. Like ‘Hidden place’, also ‘Misplaced’ has been considered by both the magazines and the audience a great album, and several live dates followed the release. In 2005 Simone Mularoni (Empyrios) replaced Diego Reali, Simone is considered simply a genius of the six strings, who naturally owns the peculiar DGM sound. With Simone DGM had the possibilities to reach a more fresh sounds due to his metal influences and his experience as a sound engineer and producer at the Fear Studios. With such a great axe man DGM needed another monstrous keyboard player able to be the right arm of Simone, Emanuele Casali (Astra, ex-Empyrios) was the best and only possible choice after Fabio Sanges left, Simone and Emanuele gave to the new songs a renewed touch of class and the result of his experience is all included in “Different Shapes” released in 2007. The media claims ‘Different Shapes’ as the best work of DGM so far, a beautiful production managed Simone himself made Rock Hard and Metal Hammer awarding it as TOP ALBUM. On the live front, DGM played for the second time at the Gods Of Metal (2007) together with Heaven&Hell, Dream Theater, SymphonyX, Dark Tranquillity among others, Lagoa Burning Festival (2007), Prog-Power Europe (2007) as a confirmation of the high quality of ‘Different Shapes’. In February 2007 DGM announced that Mark Basile (B.R.A.K.E., ex Mind Key) was the new singer of the band. Mark was chosen among several auditions throughout Italy, Europe and America after Titta Tani left the band. In Autumn of 2008 DGM give light to the seventh album of their career: ‘Frame’ DGM are nowadays considered undoubtedly one of Europe’s leading progressive metal acts, always pushing the boundaries with their technical and refined musical skills, which allowed them to be included among prog metal fans’ favourites. ‘Frame’ is probably the most perfect think DGM are ever done, Mark’s voice is something unbelievable, Simone guitar plying will leave you breathless, Emanuele’s harmonies will bring you on new musical conceptions while the Andrea and Fabio create a wall of rhythmic session where to leave an indelible trail in the worldwide metal scene.

Empyrios came to light in the fall of 2001 by the mastermind guitar virtuoso Simone Mularoni (DGM) and Matteo Mastroianni, with the will to create something different in the metal panorama. Their ambition was to push forward their concrete fundation on progressive metal, built on extreme musicianship and feeling, bastardizing with mere aggression, and spicing it up with a touch of the finest guitar and keyboard solos and symphonic orchestra passages. In the half of 2002 Silvio Manciniwas recruited to fulfill vocal duties on Empyrios frontline; his style and timbre is something really uncommon, capable of enchanting the listener with his heavenly yet deviant lines. Their first step was to record the promo CD ‘The EverSinner’ at MG studios in the summer of 2002, produced and mixed by Simone Mularoni. It obtained some of the greatest reviews worldwide and was promoted with a lot of shows in Italy, with a final gig at Symbol Club in San Marino (August 2003), along with Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater keyboard genius) and Astra (italian official Dream Theater tribute band), with an unforgettable ending jam with them. The band established instantly a magic alchemy with Astra keyboard player Emanuele Casali, who joined the band soonly after as the official Empyrios keyboard player. Everything came to perfection when the lineup was completed in January 2004 with Simone Bertozzi(The Modern Age Slavery, Undead, ex Gory Blister), finally adding some crushing punchiness on the bass. The next goal for Empyrios was to add a new brick oto their progressive metal sound, where melody and technicity meet aggression without losing the intensity and feeling. All they got in their hands was twelve new songs that pulled Empyrios’ influences and style to the highest high-octane grade, fitting exactly the power of the new lineup, and the best recording studio around : Fear Studio (Sisthema, Ephel Duath, Daniele Liverani, Genius Rock Opera, Khymera, Folder, Addiction Crew, Undead, Slowmotion Apocalypse among others). The recording, mixing and mastering process was held by the experts hands of the band’s longtime friend Gabriele Ravaglia and Simone Mularoni, across autumn and winter 2005. ‘…And the Rest is Silence’ was released on february 2007 by Burning Star Records and gained enthusiastic reviews (top album on Eutk.net, Flash magazine among others) and awesome feedback worldwide. Their way of mixing melody and aggression was the key of such great feedback, but as soon as the first big step was made they felt the need to push both these sides to the limit, once and for all. By the end of 2007 the band parted ways with Matteo, due to artistic differences and recruited the drummer extraordinaire Dario Ciccioni (Genius, Oliver Hartmann, Khymera, Twinspirits) who really helped push Empyrios to extreme. The new record, ‘The Glorious Sickness’ is coming out this september on Scarlet Records. Once again the band was able to put on tape their incredible technical abilities and impressive mix of melodic and brutal heavy metal, in the vein of bands such as Strapping Young Lad, Nevermore, Symphony X, Fear Factory, Yngwie Malmsteen and Meshuggah.

Endless Pain

Endless Pain were born in Brescia in 2001. Since the beginning the band is characterized by an aggressive thrash metal sound, which melts 80’s influences and death nuances. The studio activity is quite considerable, the band recorded two demos (“The cruel way of war” – 2002 and “Shotgun carnage” – 2003) and an auto produced album, “Born in violence” in 2005. Despite an undoubtedly old style production, the great public reaction gave the band a whole satisfaction of their work. At the same time an intense live activity begins, which brought the band to play through all the north of Italy and the near countries. In fact the band has been called to play at both underground clubs and at meaningful events with very important bands, for example: “Sun Valley 2003” – Trento (I); “Titans of Thrash” ’03-’04 – Brescia (I) with TANKARD; With DESTRUCTION at Sfinge – Brescia (I); “Tradate Iron Fest 2004”(I) with DISMEMBER; “Metal Camp 05” (SLO) headliner SLAYER and ANTHRAX. In 2007 the recording of “De-Generation War” begins, with a more professional production, at Satellite Studio in Bergamo (thanks to Davide Perrucchini’s help, sound engineer and Verdena’s producer). This decisive contribution gives the right impact to the band’s work. This album contains the participation, as guest, of Manuel Merigo, ex IN.SI.DIA guitarist and sees the light in 2008. 2009 has been a very meaningful year, characterized by a substantial live activity, crowned by a concert at Live-Stage (Innsbruck, where we recorded a DVD) and by our participation to “Milano thrash fest” featuring the great band SODOM. During the summer they recorded our new ALBUM EP at Phoenix studios under the supervision of Emilio Rossi.

Fides Inversa

Fides Inversa is the musical and philosophical emanation of an intricate spiritual reflection, in order to self glorify the being through the inversion of the judeo christian tradition and faith. ”Hanc Aciem Sola Retundit Virtus (The Algolagnia Divine)”, first opus of the project, is a revaluation of the christian concept of Death, which, from a primeval punishment against the sinner, becomes an instrument of revenge towards Abraham’s God. Through the first three stations, representing the main examples of malamorte, the concept reaches a final thought with an ode to the mighty Opposer, the flaming Rebel. Sin and Virtue become the instruments, for he who was born as a son, to reclaim his right to the Lord. Killing God in this sense, through Sin or our own Death, the individual will reborn in the glory of Cain’s blood, not as a man, but as a God. The path undertaken by Fides Inversa needs, for the aim of his complete conceptual purity, total anonymity. Neither the minds behind the words, nor the arms behind the musical performance shall be revealed, in order to give not glory to men, but to our Lord. All people should know is that the band is an Italian based duo, born in 2006 by the hands of VoidAd and that ?Hanc Aciem Sola Retundit Virtus (The Algolagnia Divine)? is just the first effort of a creature that is here to endure. Music and lyrics were composed between 2006 to 2008. Recorded in the first months of 2009. Artwork and whole graphic designs by Arioch (Funeral Mist / Holy Poison design).

Glorior Belli/11 As In Adversaries

Once in a blood red moon, a band comes along that defies the law! Glorior Belli swamped out from the temperamental suburbs of Paris in December 2002 leaded by founding member J. At this point the French band has garnered a stellar reputation in the heavy music community for mixing Blues and Southern-Rock textures with the brutal, ominous, doom-laden vibe typical of Black Metal. First and foremost, GLORIOR BELLI offer a disparate and challenging form of art, inexorably moving on to a new level of confidence, successfully crafting an atmosphere of their own.

http://www.myspace.com/gloriorbelli

11 As In Adversaries is a Metal / Rock / Psyche project that aims to offer an alternative to a swamp of occasionnally limited artists. Brought into existence in early 2010 by a vehement duo comprises of J. (Guitar/Bass/Vocals) and G. (Drums), the ADVERSARIES are messing around with the codes, mixing extreme metal and surprising indie tunes together in a massively demented debut album: ’The Full Intrepid Experience Of Light’. The meaning of our name lies within a numerological context where ‘ELEVEN’ stands for what is beyond ‘TEN’, numbers from 1 to 10 are representative of the law/order and cosmic completion. 11 is a manifestation of freedom and rebellion for its magick can bring one to defy the limitations imposed by the Demiurge. There are actually eleven letters in the word ‘adversaries’, so: 11 As In A D V E R S A R I E S.

Housebreaking

First Housebreaking’ line-up was born around 1994-95 inspired by American Surf-Punk Offspring style. After the tragic death by overdose of bassplayer Davide, the band decided to change her musical style without losing the fierce punk attitude. After lots of live gigs and many style’s changes, Housebreaking recorded their first demotape based on a more soft sound, so popular in Italy in the ‘90s mostly in the vein of Timoria’s “2020 Speedball”. But right after the band split up. Housebreaking reborn in 2006, playing a more modern oriented thrash-death metal stuff but soon broke-up definitely.
In June of 2009 Housebreaking rose from their ashes again and started working on their debut album for more than a year, also playing killing live acts mostly in the South of Italy.
In October of 2010 Housebreaking entered 16th Cellar Studios in Rome to record “Out Of Your Brain”.

Human Improvement Process

The “Human Improvement Process” hailing from the city of Modena (Italy) plays neck crushing deathcore with dubstep and electronic elements. Extreme breakdowns and catchy refrains are the fundaments of this mosh monster. As for the visual aspect of their music the band is collaborating with nothing but one of the best entity in the music scene today: Eklipse Design. A young and ambitious company that has already worked with acts such as Oceano, The Ghost Inside, Bleeding Through, DANZA, Beneath the massacre and more. Check their video “S.T.A.R.S.” and experience the Human Improvement Process. In late 2010 h.i.p. signed a worldwide deal with “The execution kollective records”.

Istapp/Vanmakt/Soijl/Nidrike (Martin Svensson)

In the beginning there was nothing but cold. Worlds beyond worlds were covered in beautifully shimmering ice, draped by a thick layer of darkness as pure in perfection as could be. Three Winter Gods had been instructed to govern it all and make sure no intruding force was to ever compromise that which meant everything to them. The Gods often times marvelled upon the frozen harmony of the worlds without any suspicion that something was about to go terribly wrong. A vague light in a far distance suddenly appeared to the Gods, an alarming disturbance, and they rushed throughout the snow covered realms to investigate the origin from where the uninvited guest hailed from. To their grave indignation, they discovered that what they had spotted were rays of light shot out from an unseen evil star rose on the horizon who had set its sights on a far planet called Earth. Earth laid in one of the darkest corners of the world known as The Dead Sector, a constellation of deeply frozen planets and according to the laws of old, forbidden of hosting any forms of life. The disgusting light now began scorching the white planet and made the frozen soil slowly give birth to unholy, light-consuming organisms. More and more of the evil star minions unrightfully claimed their place in the light and began worshipping it. The new breed of earthly scum was a severely weak race of light cravers called Homo sapiens. A very despicable two legged deformation that bathed in the sickening brightness and built temples and monuments to honour what should never have been at all. The bare site of the foul freaks’ orgy in the morbid gaze of the star would have been extremely revolting to any remote beholder, let alone the three Gods. Perplexed, yet angered by the trespassing whore of heat, the gods finally snapped out of their daze and realised that something had to be done. They knew they had to use firm action on the now sun possessed humans in order to conquer the star and regain ultimate winter on Earth. The only way to do this was to try to lure mankind into believing that winter and snow was the only true way to absolution without them realising that by choosing frostbite over tanning, the feeble humans would eventually walk into certain deaths. This would ensure that Earth once again would become lifeless and desolate in the most frozen of ways.

The gods now struck up a plan. A plan that, in its simplest form, was for the Gods to find three agents that could represent them where they themselves, by principle, never would set foot, since integrating with dirty humans was beneath them. Three agents whom could roam freely on the now charred surface of earth. Three agents that the Gods would grant their most secret of powers in order to rectify the troubling effects of light and entangle the minds of the gullible humans! Hence a vast interdimensional search was set in motion for these three warriors to be.

Supported live by Morg and T.C. Istapp are definitively ready to carry on their message against the sun!!!

A Swedish black metal band formed in 2006 by Gorgoth (screams, guitar, drum programming) and Vladr (bass), Vanmakt draw inspiration primarily from Norwegian legends Emperor for their deeply satanic, brutally frenzied, yet majestic and semi-symphonic compositions. Issued in 2006, the “Diaboli Lubeo, Para Vindicta” demo caught the attention of several independent labels, but Vanmakt eventually decided to sign with Singapore’s Pulverised Records, calling upon likeminded session musicians Aamoth and Graal to participate in the sessions for debut album “Vredskapta Mörkersagor” (2007), and then M. Wohlfart (guitar) and Liedheim (drums) for their second, “Ad Luciferi Regnum” (2009).

Soijl was formed by M. Svensson many years ago. Even though he has created music he never released anything with Soijl since he have had other bands that has taken all his time. Due to various reasons he has finally found time to concentrate on what will become so much more than it is at the moment. Soijl is not a commercial thinking band or project: Soijl is what M. Svensson writes for himself and where he puts all his emotions on the darker days of my life. Soijl is and will always represent his emotions and because of that it is not possible to know when they will manifest again in a musical form.

Nidrike was formed in the summer of 2007 by Gjallar (Skald) and Morg (Vanmakt, Istapp). These 2 friends decided that its time for a new true Luciferic Blackmetal band to arise. The music shall be fast, brutal and disqusting. The essence of the lyrics shall be Nordic Hatred towards those who a 1000 years earlier had slayed and forsed their ancestors to believe in a christian and false god. A bunch of songs were written and 3 got recorded and became the first Nidrike demo “Lögneras Högborg”.

After recieving almost overwhelming feedback from fans and labels Nidrike decided to sign with the american underground label, Black Plague Records! A fullenght album is to be recorded and released under a Luciferic Moon! But to make this as good as possible Nidrike decided to let Liedheim do the drums and Aamoth also from Vanmakt put his hellish patterns of hatred on some of the guitar tracks! Now Nidrike is ready to record a true underground album that will smash everyone into pieces! Grim melodies with a base of attacking drums that will mangle all the demons up from hell! Be prepared for the Doom to come!

From the depths of hatred Nidrike has recorded their debutalbum entitled “Blodsarv”. This album will be released upon this darkened world in the fall of 2008, 11 helvetic tracks has been included in this grim creation and inside this realm of lies and indoctrination Nidrike stands tall at the left side of Lucifer!

Male Misandria

Darivs von Pontr, former member of Male mISANDRIA, talking about his own creation loves to define it like “a non-project born in 2007 in Naon to spread the attitude of individual being”. The members of this grind/black metal hermaphrodite recorded in 2008 “Volizione”, their first E.P. laying the foundations of their non-concepts ideology. This first step brought extremely positive feedbacks. In 2010 “E.DIN” was recorded: a full immersion in the human psychosis and its enslavement.

Progenie Terrestre Pura

Progenie Terrestre Pura – q[T]p – is a project born at the end of 2009 by the mental collision between Eon[0] and Nex[1]. Their purpose from the beginning was to combine Black Metal with electronic sounds and Ambient without stopping at the classic Black/Ambient combination, but trying to extend it by including more elaborate and layered electronic elements (an IDM approach and Psybient landscapes) able of creating a new, different atmosphere in Black Metal music.Their musical vision leads them to pursue a constant evolution without losing sight of the root from which they came, but, however, avoiding to impose limitations on the composition and assembly of ideas. On April 2011 their promo Promo was released, a self-paid work, whose recording and mixing were realized into their small homestudios; mastering, instead, was realized by WLFMastering. The 2 tracks present here were composed and registered between the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2011, and those will be part of their debut album, logically re-recorded.

Trendkill Method

September of the 1997 marked the beginning of the band. After six year spell in thrash band ULTRA the two guitar players Deniss Melnik and Anatoly Kirillov formed a new outfit called GUST OF ANGER. Alex (drums) and Alexey (bass) from local band MORTMAIN were invited to join and accepted the invitation. This lineup recorded the CILVIL PEACE demo marking became noticeably harsher sound in the style of bands like MACHINE HEAD, STUCK MOJO and PANTERA.

The band started to perform successfully around the Baltic States and earned a great reputation relatively quickly. New style and energetic musicians helped “GUST OF ANGER” earn respect on the indie circuits.

After the initial success of “CIVIL PEACE”, the band decided to step forward and try to compete with the popular bands from West. Gigs around the Baltic States were scheduled, new tracks introduced and regular venues and new sets were created.

Raw demo tracks were used for the debut album because at the time no producer was working with the band. Since then four candidates auditioned: Andy Sneap, Colin Richardson, Daniel Bergstrand and Thomas Hedqvist. After careful consideration we decided to go with the ingenious Swede, Daniel Bergstrand, known for his work with bands like Strapping Young Lad, Stuck Mojo and Meshuggah amongst others.

After settling organizational issues, GOA invited well known Swedish drummer Perra Johansson (ex-Crawley, Lost Souls) as guest star. As it was expected he fully justified every band member expectations with his talented drumming and performed flawlessly.

But Sweden is Sweden and Latvia is Latvia and after returning home the band decided to reinstate their old drummer, Taras Kuzmenko, known mainly for his work in “ULTRA”. After rehearsals and Taras’ full integration into the band, GOA played several gigs in Latvia, most noticeably in early festival “Sinepes un Medus”, where they scooped the coveted “Newcomer of the Year” award.

Since then, public performances with the bands “Overkill”, “Annihilator” and “Cannibal Corpse” have kept them in the forefront of the Latvian music scene and seen the bands popularity continue to soar. Sadly, following the gigs, bass player Alex Privash left the band for personal reasons and subsequently Sergei Karshev (Neglected Fields) was invited to join as his replacement.

The gigs that have followed confirmed the fans opinions that GOA is one of the hottest modern metal bands across the ex-USSR.

After a quiet period during 2003, the band decided to change the line up once again and hired singer Alex Redko (ex-Ultra, Distant Light) to replace Anatoly.

The latest tracks are more impressive than those on “Natural Hostility”

As the singer and bass player wanted to move in another style direction, in November of 2004, singer Roman (ex-Flamespirit) and bass player Deniss (ex-XXX) joined the band and the name of the band was changed to TRENDKILL METHOD. The new lineup continued perform successfully and recorded the new album “Methodistortion” with their recording/mixing engineer Sergey Laletin at the “Wolk recording studios”. Mastering was done by Colin E.Davis (Vile). As a result the band signed contracts with KAP-KAN Records (Russia) and Reality Entertaiment (rest of the world).

Some changes in the lineup have followed and now TRENDKILL METHOD lineup is: Denis Melnik (guitars), Vladimir Korobov (guitars), Rustam Guseinov (drums), Denis Denisenko (bass) and Janis Umbraska (vox)
